Marilisa Circelli is a tourist guide (authorisation number 1641) and promoter of integrated tourism. She speaks Italian, German, English and Spanish.
She was born in Naples in 1973, but as she spent her childhood in Germany, she is a native German speaker. Before moving to Sardinia, where she decided to aim her professional interest toward tourism, she lived and worked in Rome and England.
Over the years, training courses and a Masters in Communication have progressively increased her cultural knowledge, allowing her to understand more about the history of the island, where, in the words of D.H. Lawrence, “This gives a sense of space, which is so lacking in Italy. Lovely space about one, and travelling distances–nothing finished, nothing final. It is like liberty itself”
In 2018 she accompanied 1400 people on the discovery of ancient history, intense fragrances and distant roots, unexpected mixtures, wonders, echoes, ancestral music and sounds; craftsmen, historic archaeological finds, villages, cobbled roads, rivers, lakes and trails. An exciting journey through this land made of breathtaking and captivating moments.
