FRADILES SNC

Fradiles, Sardinian for cousins, is located in Sardinia in Atzara, a village where for centuries winemaking has been a deeply-rooted craft. Our winery, created from the reconstruction of an old family farm, is the fruit of our passion for tradition and viticulture and winemaking culture.

Our winery is situated in the proximity of the vineyards to allow for an immediate vinification of the handpicked grapes. It’s here that we passionately produce a wine characterised by the “Denominazione di Origine Controllata” (an Italian quality assurance label) called Mandrolisai, from the homonymous territory.

Our production is aimed at recuperating and safeguarding our winemaking heritage according to a quality standard, producing fine wines. After all, they are simple and superior, because they are tied to tradition, giving life to a wine with an unmistakable characteristic.

We retrace past habits to encapsulate in our wines the passions of our land.

Our vineyards are located in Mandrolisai, an enchanting place, full of archaic charm, where the magical horizon extends for kilometres: lush pastures, mountains with tall chestnut and oak trees, hills covered by holm oak and holly tree woods, and then vineyards and more vineyards, vast and steep inclines, bright, colourful and sunny.

On these pleasant hills, the grape varieties are represented by local varieties: Bovale Sardo, Cannonau, Monica and other native species because for us identity has a priceless value. We continually check the condition of the terrain and the grapevines, following every step of the way the vinification and each phase that accompanies our wines to the bottle.
