AZIENDA AGRICOLA DEMURU

The winery is a family artisan workshop.

All of the work, from the vineyard to the winery is done by the family. The grapes come from our vineyards in the countryside of Meana Sardo at an altitude of 700m, in schist terrains, surrounded by woods and Mediterranean shrubland.

Our philosophy envisages that everything takes place naturally, leaving nature to carry out its cycle by respecting its periods. We do not use any types of chemical additives. The red wines are not clarified, nor filtered or stabilised, only the necessary pourings are carried out during the refinement.

We do not use national and/or international grape varieties. Our winery is exclusively enhanced by our traditions and we are proud to only produce recognisable wines, as a legacy to the past Meanese winemakers.

I believe and we believe in the typical characteristics of every grape variety. I wish and we wish that our wines symbolise the territory (terroir), which are different to each other, that anyone can tell them apart and recognise the characteristics of Mandrolisai, Cannonau or Muristellu because we believe in the wines’ authenticity: true and natural, which express their inherent characteristics and are not artificially created.

”In vino veritas”. This is our motto, which comes from long ago. And further, we wish to go.
