ALLA SCOPERTA DI..

Maria Stefania Contini on herself: I’m a Biologist and Naturalist with a PhD in Ecopatholgy of Wild Fauna. After a long period of preparation and experience in the field, she decided to transform her passion for nature into work, becoming an Interpretative Nature Guide, registered on the Regional Register RAS, number 591. 

I love being in the natural environment, of which I’ve always been a careful observer. It thrills me to come across wild animals and recognise signs of their presence.

I’m in love with my land, Sardinia, and I’m passionate about leading other people on a discovery of the unlimited treasures of our island, especially those more hidden and less known. 

“Alla scoperta di..” is a sole company created in 2009 thanks to the project NOLO, through which I run my business. 

It lets me share the sustainable and simple lifestyle so dear to me, which allows us to “live wisely on Earth” (Mortari, 1994), establishing a balanced relationship between us, the environment and other living species, man included. And it allows us to “feel good” about ourselves too.
