The small boutique country Hotel Su Lithu seems to be suspended over the roofs in the village of Bitti, the famous village of the Tenores, a type of polyphonic singing, which has been added to the list of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The backdrop is full of contrast and stories of Sardinian traditions, customs, and costumes not yet forgotten. We are in the Sardinian heartland where the granite of Gallura meets the limestone of Barbagia, and cork forests give way to the green pastures of the high plains.

At our boutique country hotel, you’ll always feel at home. The owners’ tastes entwine with the knowledge of local artisans shown through the many ceramics, furniture, their grandmother’s keepsakes and past travels.

Our 18 rooms are 18 warm and comfortable retreats, where the atmosphere is intimate and every detail chosen with care.

Each room has a story to tell: the exposed wooden chestnut beams, the warm coloured fabrics, and the unique objects evoke images of days gone by exactly as was eulogised by Grazia Deledda, the famous and headstrong writer from Nuoro who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1927.

From the balcony of your room, whilst enjoying a glass of our own wine, surrounded by silence, you can behold an amazing scene, enlivened by falcons swooping around in the blue skies and observing from above the life of our small village in the province of Nuoro.

We have available 16 standard rooms with views which can accommodate extra beds, and 2 superior double rooms with hydromassage baths and views over the valley. In addition, all have telephones, satellite TV, mini-bar, safes, air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, Wi-Fi. Plus we guarantee that whatever you desire will be accepted and fulfilled by our staff.

Our hotel also has a restaurant serving typical cuisine, a light therapy terrace, a children’s play area, a small conference room and plenty of common areas.
