HOTEL LA CAPANNINA SNC

La Capannina is a welcoming 3-star hotel located just a short walk from the centre of Aritzo. It’s a well-known Sardinian mountain centre located in a panoramic position on the edges of a lush chestnut forest that surrounds the whole area. 

Rich in fauna, it’s possible to spot mouflons, one of the Sardinian animal symbols, and also golden eagles, ravens and peregrine falcons. Of great interest is the presence of the red-billed chough. Goshawks, and sparrowhawks are linked to the forest environment, whilst buzzards are found almost everywhere. Plus, woodpeckers and blackbirds, Sardinian wildcats, weasels, foxes and many others. When it comes to the flora, more than 1000 metres spread across large grassy meadows, while higher up a rocky environment towers over. The thyme meadows are beautiful. Different species of broom are widespread, including native ones such as Helichrysum (sometimes called Italian strawflower) and Santolina and then there are yew and oak trees, blackberry hedges and holm oak forests.

The hotel has 30 comfortable rooms and an excellent restaurant.

Surrounded by a beautiful shaded garden, there is a large car park for cars and motorbikes and, on request, indoor parking.

In addition, the hotel has a rechargeable point for electric cars.

The restaurant of the Hotel La Capannnina offers simple, authentic, local cuisine with dishes full of flavour, made with zero km natural ingredients. The restaurant has three dining rooms and is able to seat about 160 diners.

During summer and warmer months, it’s possible to dine in the garden and on the adjacent terrace. 

As well as this, we can hold dinners outside and wedding banquets in the leafy, spacious park that encircles the hotel.
