“Sa Corte Nova” was created from the idea to restore an old manor house to its former glory. Built in the nineteen fifties in the centre of the village, it served as an inn for pilgrims, who used to go on foot to the sanctuary of San Francesco to pray.
The B&B is situated in the main street of the village, the old Via San Francesco, a short distance from the central square in the village and the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta.
The B&B Sa Corte Nova has two rooms on the ground floor which overlook the outside courtyard: “Sa Corte”, renovated fully respecting the rural architecture of the place.
The rooms are simply furnished, respecting the taste and traditions of our island.
The names of the rooms refer to two plants located in the courtyard, which our family is connected to: L’ulivo (Olive tree) and la Camelia (Camellia).
They are heated and have complimentary toiletries, slippers, a hairdryer and a three-piece towel set.
The walls feature pictures and works of art that depict the past of an ancient land like Sardinia, representing an evocative experiential journey.
A private library is available where, if you wish, you can borrow books about Sardinia and its history and traditions.
