In the countryside of Olzai stands the Tomba de Giganti s'Ena e Sa Vacca, a characteristic site that attracts researchers because of its structure halfway between a Dolmen and a Tomb of the Giants, as it has the typical structure of a tomb but the cover is formed by an unfinished dolmen slab that rests on it. Despite this, however, it is still classified as a Tomb of the Giants because of the presence of the exedra and the rows of the funeral chamber. As for the dolmen cover, its function and its meaning is not known precisely, however, it is thought that it caused by a sort of restructuring and then, because of the erosion of the original cover, a dolmen located nearby was used for the replacement and the repairment of the tomb.
