Siniscola Baronia

The beaches of Siniscola

There are five main beaches in the Siniscola area, all of which are hamlets of the town of Siniscola and together form a good 12 kilometres of beautiful, white and bright beaches. La Caletta is the most touristic area, here you can find many services for tourists, from hotels to sailing, diving and surfing schools. You must try the fish dishes here, which are always fresh and bought directly from the fishermen moored on the docks. Further south of La Caletta is Santa Lucia, founded by fishermen arriving from Ponza, with its peculiar 16th century Aragonese Tower rising over the area. Heading in the same direction, one arrives to Capo Comino, an almost cinematographic beach, characterised by gigantic dunes, centuries-old junipers and a very long beach that joins to the famous "Confetti Beach" s’Ena ‘e sa Chitta, with its particular smooth rocks, soft white beach and crystal clear sea. Closing with the so-called "pearl" of the east coast, Bèrchida is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean and yet it is rarely crowded. It is a great place to go to relax and spend a day in a gorgeous surrounding, between the turquoise sea and the fine white sand that almost dazzles.
