The Art Station Museum

The museum is located in the structure of the antique station that connected Gairo to Jerzu, once this line was closed in 1956, and the station was closed and abandoned until 2006.

In that year, the station became a museum, The Art Station Museum, where you can admire more than 140 works by the artist Maria Lai, who donated these works that now represent her largest collection. The works inside are made by using different ways and techniques, making her a unique artist considered to be among the most important contemporary artists, during the visit to this particular and unique museum, art pieces in clay, ceramics, frames, canvases and sewn books will accompany you.
