The most important Nuragic site, s'Arcu 'e is Forros is an important sanctuary village that includes a trilobate nuraghe, three temples and two villages of huts. A living area and a craft area within the villages can be distinguished. In fact, these structures are similar to furnaces used for metalworking as evidenced by the great abundance of artifacts discovered to have Etruscan, Greek and Near Eastern origin as to highlight the importance of this sacred center for the fundamental metallurgy of the Nuragic age.
