Santa Maria Maddalena Cathedral

The Santa Maria Maddalena Cathedral was probably built before the 17th century, and it initially included the cemetery, as did most parochial churches at that time. It was renovated in 1886 and wasn't officiated for a long period.
After the renovation the church got a new neoclassical style. Inside it is possible to admire some paintings that Mario Delitala later used to decorate the interior, some of which are “La Natività” and “La Crocifissione”, an 18th century wooden crucifix, part of the original furnishings and a more recent bronze statue from 1983. On 22 July, the feast of Santa Maria Maddalena is celebrated with processions, folk traditions and product tastings.
