The nuraghe dominates the Abbasanta plain, rising at the foot of Monte Manai, where it extends in all its majesty, attracting the attention even from the road that leads to it. This is one of the best-preserved Nuraghes on the island, and it is possible to observe and clearly understand some of the functions of the structure that are still perfectly recognisable today. The 15-metre-high central tower was defended by a bastion consisting of four towers all around, two of which are still very well preserved, while the other two are now half-destroyed. There are also remains of an ancient village that testify to the strong Roman presence in the area.
