The archaeological site and the Sanctuary of Santa Sabina are perfectly set in the sweet countryside surrounding the village of Silanus, including a single-tower nuraghe with a village around it (1600-1000 BC), the Pedra Pinta Tomb of Giants, a tholos covered holy well and the Church of Saint Sabina, built in the 11th century on an earlier Byzantine building, which is still a pilgrimage destination.
