It is a rural sanctuary of very ancient origins with a church dating back to the 11st century built with local materials in Byzantine Romanesque style. San Salvatore, surrounded by a novenary of typical stone houses and by wonderful forests, is a suggestive place in the locality of santu Gironi, a few kilometers from the town. The characteristic cumbessias host the worshippers during the festivities in honor of San Salvatore and San Gerolamo (in 12 and 30 September respectively).
