Roman epigraphic monuments

In the territory of Ortueri, inhabited since ancient times, important signs of the passage of Roman civilisation have been found, such as the stone with a funerary epigraph found in the Pedra Litterada area, where until the 1930s there was also an important Roman necropolis of which only remains can be seen. Sarcophagi with Latin inscriptions dedicated to the Mani gods have also been found on the Prani and Laccos plains.
