The Archaeological Area of perda de Tamuli in Macomer includes three tombs of giants, a nuraghe, a nuragic village and six peculiar vertically arranged stones.
The six stones are about one and a half metres tall, and are planted on the ground. They are thought to represent, or to have been "inhabited" by the deities. Three of them have 'breast shapes', suggesting that those three stones indicate the female figure and the other three the male. The stones are dominated by the nuraghe from the top of the hill, Nuraghe Tamuli, and at its foot stands the village of around fifteen stone huts that closes the archaeological area.
