Perda e’ Liana

Perda’e Liana is the highest one of the Ogliastra heels, particularly interesting from a scenic and morphological point of view and was declared a natural monument in 1993.

there was a time, perhaps, when it was a gathering place for the Nuragic population, then, accorrding to the popular legend, it became the entrance to the Underworld. Certainly with its 1293 metres in height it is a point of reference for hikers in the area. It is easily reached from the rest areas by walking trails of about one kilometre, and it can be walked all the way around on a loop trail around the Perda. The climb, with an altitude difference of 340 metres, reaches the base of the tower. It is easy up to half height, but the summit is only for rock climbers.
