Built on the remains of an earlier 12th-century sanctuary, the parochial church of San Leonardo, or Santu Leoardu, was constructed in Dualchi in the 16th century in Spanish Gothic style. The facility has undergone numerous restorations, two of them in the last century. The facade is square shaped with a flat terminal, and has a wooden gateway surmounted by a window. The massive stone bell tower rises on the left side with a square shaped belfry and four semicircular single lancet windows at the top. In the 18th century, the church, which had a connected cemetery, also hosted burials: in fact, there was a tariff regarding the area where the grave would be placed. Priests were buried in the presbytery, while for the believers the church was divided into three areas in the nave: each area corresponded to a different tariff. The children were placed near the baptismal font. Those who could not pay were placed in the cemetery, which was of great shame.
