Parochial and former Parochial church of Oniferi

The main churches of Oniferi include the parochial church of Saint Anne and the former parochial church of San Gavino.

The first one is currently the village's main church, a 15th century structure in the centre of Oniferi, which has been renovated many times since the early 1900s until 2005 which is the most recent renovation. Unfortunately the treasured painting of St Anne by Andrea Lussu from the 18th century is not present at the altar anymore as it was destroyed.
The former parochial church of San Gavino or Santu Bainzu in dialect is a structure dating back to the 15th century which was renovated several times throughout the years, even the latest renovation happened recently.  The peculiarity of the structure is that, having been changed over time, it has stylistic elements from various periods. In fact, four different periods can be recognised when analysing its architecture.
