Nuraghes Ibbixedda, Niedda Puliga, Moru, Mindeddu

Around 12 nuragic complexes can be found In the surroundings of BariSardo. Both as single monuments and villages. their distribution is homogeneous: 6 nuraghes arise in the Teccu giara (Moru, Zinnibiru, Sellersu, Niedda Puliga, Ibba Manna, Ibbixedda) 4 of them are located close to the coast  (Boschinu, Lurcuri, Mindeddu e Foxi). All of them are in dominant position which clearly suggests a defence function of the area. Some of these nuraghes are most well preserved than others allowing scholars and visitors to identify clearly the building techniques made with dry- large stone blocks decreasing in size as they tapered toward the top, and completed by a false dome-shaped roof also known as Tholos.
