Borore Museum of ritual bread was born in 2006 with the purpose of defending and giving value to the baking bread tradition not only in the village but that of all Sardinia. The collection contains 400 different breads types coming from all over the island which were usually prepared for special celebrations such as weddings, religious feasts and other remarkable community events. The visitor is involved in the traditional production process starting from the tools used in the corn fields and in the flour making, ending up with the different types of bread used in daily life. The museum focuses then on productions made in the main life events such as birth, wedding and deaths. It also describes the breads produced to celebrate the many important deadlines of the agricultural year and all the religious feasts. The museum of ritual bread can be found next to the main square of Borore surrounded by a garden with a playground for children and a parking area.
