Gola di Gorropu

A deep chasm creates the most spectacular and also one of the deepest canyon in Europe according to many. An incredible natural monument created by the millennial erosion of the underground stream Flumineddu that gives indescribable emotions to the most experienced hikers. There are at least three paths to reach the entrance of the Gola, from Urzulei, from Genna Silana and from Dorgali, with different levels of difficulty. Gorropu is a paradise of 900 thousand years old biodiversity as evidenced by the fossils in its walls.
