The entire territory of Torpè falls within the Tepilora regional natural Park and some of the most blooming forests can be found here.
The state-owned forest of Usinavà, which also includes the Su Lidone forest, is a natural oasis of great interest for its vegetation and fauna. In fact, it provides a protected refuge for wildlife and a privileged place to admire the colony of mouflons and other animals such as the sultan chicken and the mallard. It contains more than one thousand hectares of holm oak and cork oak trees, mainly concentrated in the localities of Badd'e Cabras and Sa Figu, where there are also arbutus, lentisk, phillyrea, red juniper and cork oak plants. Some features of the forest are dominated by granites among which the "serre" are outstanding, which a succession of conical ridges similar to the teeth of a saw. Rocks with concavities, small and large hollows in the rock or in detached boulders called "tafoni", are created by wind erosion.
