Delitala’s Collection

Mario Delitala, born in Orani, was one of the most famous Sardinian engravers and graphic designers of the 20th century. The collection includes 66 graphic works: woodcuts, etchings, lithographs and two significant oil paintings, which was donated by the artist to the Municipality of Orani on his 100th birthday. It was exhibited on the first floor of the restored former convent of the Friars Minor Observant, dating back to 1610, which now houses the Town Hall and is located in the heart of the historic centre.
