The church of Saint Ignatius in the historic center of Oliena is one of the signs of the presence of the Jesuits in Sardinia, who built it between the 17th and 18th centuries. The majestic double staircase in the facade leads to the entrance of the church. The square shaped bell tower is original and different from those found in the area. Inside precious statues and wooden retables of Campania origin are preserved. The church is the parochial church of Oliena and the Saint is celebrated on 31 July.
