The building was built around the XVII century according to the typical features of the Sardinian Mountain house of Gennargentu. It shows a massive walled entrance dating back to 1889 and a trapezoidal courtyard which emphasizes the complex underlying the social preminence of the owning family. In the courtyard’ s house the bandit poet Bachisio Sulis born in Aritzo, was brutally murdered. Inside the building, ancient decors are displaied and particularly a permanent collection of carved trunks according to the local handcraft tradition.
