Dorgali Baronia

Beaches of Cala Gonone

Cala Gonone is the seaside part of Dorgali set in the Gulf of Orosei. It is a small village set on a dreamlike sea. The central beach is the historical beach of the people of Dorgali and is located next to the small touristic port dominated by the splendid Villa Ticca, one of the most interesting historical buildings in the village. The new beaches and the beach of Palmasera, the beach of Sos Dorroles, S'Abba Meica and, a little further away, the splendid Cala Fuili can also be easily reached on foot from the village.

The first ones have shallow waters and are therefore particularly recommended for families with children. From Sos Dorroles onwards, the seabed degrades rapidly. The sand is larger rock fragments mixed with pebbles. S'abba meica is a beach for dogs. Snorkelling enthusiasts will enjoy wandering from the centre to some of the most beautiful spots in the Gulf of Orosei surrounded by the beautiful greenery of Supramonte. The last beach you come across as you drive from the town of Viale Bue Marino is the charming Cala Fuili. Leave the car and walk down the stairs to the white sand and pebble beach.
