Archeological park of Selene

In the forest of Selene, 6 kilometers from Lanusei, at around 1000 meters above sea level, Nuragic remains from the Bronze Age are present, such as the Gennacili nuraghe, consisting of two tombs of giants, numerous huts and defensive walls.

The Nuraghe is not in a good conservation status, only the base is remining, while the tombs of the giants located about 500 metres from the huts are more easily recognisable among the Mediterranean plants covering the wood.
