Archaeological Area of Soroeni

The territory of Lodine is dotted with numerous archaeological remains dating back to the pre-Nuragic and Nuragic periods. In the direction of Gavoi is the Necropolis of Uniai and nearby the archaeological site of Soroeni, the most significant archaeological site in the area. It includes the remains of a nuraghe of the same name, two domus de janas and an impressive village of huts.  The site is in a beautiful panoramic location and can be reached by a pleasant trek.
