Abba Gadda Nuraghe

Among the number of prehistoric evidences of the area, the Abba Gadda nuraghe is one of the most interesting. Its 6 metres high tower is still pretty well kept. The boulders making the building were originally covered in clay to protect it from atmospheric agents. Recent digs have brought to light the construction works whose function still needs to be studied properly. In its vicinity there is also a giants’ tomb named after the nuraghe itself.
